The MLOA Board will be hosting a Waterfowl Committee meeting on Wednesday February 28th at 7pm. This will be an information sharing format to outline where we are at and what’s currently happening. It will be a moderated meeting and you are required to register.  Email us a request for invitation at  This email address is being protected from spambots. We are opening this meeting to all waterfowl RTOs, whether MLOA member or not on this one time occasion only. Should you wish to remain on the meeting invite list, we kindly ask you to become an MLOA member. 

We also ask you to inform other waterfowl outfitters of the meeting so we don't miss anyone that might want to attend and is not on our email list. Please to tell them to RSVP so we can send them an invitation. If you have a specific question you would like answered please submit it in advance and we will see what we can find out. 

We have asked the Wildlife Department for an update on the policy as we move into Phase Two. 

Also as a reminder to our members we are always looking for people to sit on our various committees. These include Waterfowl, Angling, Big Game, Accommodation and our newest one, Eco Tourism. All of these are active with meetings coming in the next month. 

Our new website is almost ready to launch and we are very excited about that. We will also be meeting with various stakeholders including government and Travel Manitoba as well as the Manitoba Wildlife Federation.
