FLIGHT DUTY TIME REGULATIONS, NOW IS THE TIME TO BE HEARD!

Hey members, I just wanted to update you on the flight duty time regulations changes we want to make.

Last week, our Coalition was able to meet with senior staff from the office of the Minister of Transport Canada to continue discussions on the recommendations put forward by CNASS on the flight duty regulations. The Minister's office re-confirmed their support of our recommended changes, and shared with us that there were approximately 150 submissions to the recent consultation they conducted. It would be extremely helpful if more submissions would make their way to Transport Canada from the float plane and regional air carrier sectors.
If you haven't already done so WE NEED YOU to let Transport Canada know that they need the current regulations to change.  Transport Canada has not yet come out in full force to check on the implementation of the new regulations but they will be soon. We know from our discussions with many of you that it is incredibly challenging to comply with the regulations as they are written so help us affect change. Instructions on making a submission are listed below.

It has been a long, hard fight but your submission could make the difference.
Hope you are having a great season.
