Kaboom Coating Mix was founded in 2018 by Joe, Freda & John Yule who shared a love for specialty foods. With a passion for great food, the Yule's created the perfect coating mix for fish, chicken, seafood, vegetables, and more. They started out selling Kaboom Coating Mix at local farmer's markets, online and local stores.

Driven by our passion for Kaboom on our fish and wild meats,our family purchased Kaboom from the Yule's in 2025. Our family is passionate about the outdoors and wanted to continue the success of Kaboom Coating Mix that the Yule's created. Production of Kaboom Coating Mix resumed early April of 2025 and started hitting the shelves by mid-April.

Kaboom Coating Mixes are produced in Manitoba and we currently offer six flavours: Fish Original, Fish (No MSG), Chicken Original, Chicken (No MSG), Cajun and Wild Joe's Canadian BBQ. Besides fish and chicken it offers the perfect coating for game bird, waterfowl, and wild meats. Stay tuned for new flavours to be released in 2026.
