About Us! The Manitoba Lodges and Outfitters Association (MLOA) represent a broad spectrum of resource based tourism facilities, destinations and services. Our membership are as diverse as the wide range of outdoor adventure vacations that are available in the province; from whale watching and waterfowl hunting on northern bays to canoe trips in untamed wilderness; from remote fly-in fishing and hunting lodges to road accessible family resorts. There is an MLOA member with a vacation package to fit your needs. Throughout this diversity there is an ethic that binds the members of the MLOA. They are committed to providing their customers with a quality outdoor experience while promoting and practising the responsible use and enjoyment of our natural resources and wilderness areas. This ethic is also shared by Manitoba’s outdoor adventure industry fraternity. This legacy of sustainable development gives visitors to Manitoba the very best of nature while protecting it for tomorrow. The voice of the resource based Tourism Industry in Manitoba. The Manitoba Lodges and Outfitters Association (MLOA) strive to encourage and promote high standards of service and ethics within its membership and industry. The Association effectively establishes liaisons, partnerships and communications with various industry organizations, ministers, officials and government departments and actively seeks resolutions and amendments to policies, laws and regulations that govern or negatively affect the resource based tourism industry in Manitoba. We inform the membership of current and potential industry issues, develop industry opportunities, offer special services and products, added benefits and facilitate vital resources that assist our members in their day-to-day operations. We work towards ensuring that the best interests of all are looked after and met in an efficient, effective and successful manner. Focus, Action and Results, has and continues to be our mandate.
